Your privacy.
No accounts, no email collection, no reason to tell us your life story.
What stays on your device.
Your household size, broad needs reminders, budget, and checklist ticks are stored in this browser’s local storage under doomsday:kit:v1. The app does not send these answers to an application database or include them in shareable URLs.
We don’t ask for names, addresses, diagnoses, medication details, or contact numbers. Don’t enter sensitive information into the site. Written emergency contacts belong somewhere private, not here.
What “saved” does and doesn’t mean.
Local storage is device- and browser-specific. Clearing site data, private-browsing settings, or browser problems can remove progress. There is no cloud backup, account sync, or promised offline website access. Print your list if you need a separate copy.
No advertising or analytics tracking.
There are no analytics pixels, advertising trackers, newsletter forms, or non-essential cookies in this build. Fonts and illustrations are served with the app. Opening a source link or product link visits a third-party site with its own privacy terms. Affiliate links may let the retailer attribute a qualifying purchase; they do not send your saved household answers or ticks.
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may process routine connection information such as IP addresses and request details to serve and protect the site. Household answers are not added to request URLs or application logs. There is no application database or server-side household profile.
Clear your saved choices.
This resets all locally saved kits, household settings, and preferences for this website. Individual kits also have their own reset control.
You can also remove this site’s data in your browser settings.
Privacy notice updated: 26 October 2026. A public operator/contact point remains part of the launch review.
